1st Round – #6 – LSU football safety – Jamal Adams – He just beat his father by 13 spots in the draft. His father, George Adams (1985 #19 1st Round pick to NY Giants) now owe’s him $50K. Jamal bet his father he would be picked sooner than his dad and he did that.
Los Angeles Chargers:
1st Round – #7 – Clemson wide receiver – Mike Williams
1st Round – #8 -Stanford University running back – Christian McCaffrey – he comes from a line of athletes in his family.
1st Round – #9 -Washington State wide receiver – John Ross
Kansas City Chiefs: (Trade with Bills – 17 spot move)
1st Round – #10 – Texas Tech quarterback – Patrick Mahomes II
New Orleans Saints:
1st Round – #11 – Ohio State cornerback – Marshon Lattimore
Houston Texans: (Trade up with Browns – 12 spots)
1st Round – #12 – Clemson quarterback – Deshaun Watson – Deshaun’s mom battled the odds against cancer and made a house a home for her son. She found a pamphlet from Habitat for Humanity, the charitable organization devoted to providing affordable houses. Deann made a commitment to work for it and got her family a home. Deshaun new anything was possible after that, and tonight he made the 1st round NFL draft pick with Houston. Congrats Deshaun.

1st Round – #15 – Ohio State Safety – Malik Hooker – He could have been anywhere he wanted on draft day, but Malik Hooker chose something surprising special. One of the top NFL draft picks and New Castle native, Malik Hooker took time out to visit our patients at Children’s Hospital:
1st Round – #16 – Alabama defensive end – Marlon Humphrey – son of former Alabama running back Bobby Humphrey
1st Round – #17 – Alabama defensive end – Jonathan Allen – analyst say that his shoulder injury was the reason why he landed lower on the draft tonight. However he is still a great player.
Tennessee Titans: (2nd 1st round pick)
1st Round – #18 – USC cornerback – Adoree’ Jackson
Tampa Bay Buccaneers:
1st Round – #19 – Alabama tight end – O’Terrius Jabari O. J. Howard
1st Round – #20 – University of Utah offensive tackle – Garett Bolles – his difficult journey to the NFL draft pays off at twenty. His lacrosse coach at his Saratoga Springs, Utah, high school, Greg Freeman and his wife Emily took Bolles in off the streets.
1st Round – #21 – Florida linebacker – Jarrad Davis
1st Round – #22 – Missouri defensive end – Charles Harris aka “Black Ice”
New York Giants:
1st Round – #23 – Mississippi wide receiver/tight end – Evan Engram
1st Round – #24 – Ohio State cornerback – Gareon Conley – He is ready to go to police to prove that the allegations are false. He was accused of rape earlier this week, which is why he landed lower on the draft tonight. He was also caught on video by a cellphone just hours before the incident occurred.
Cleveland Browns: 2rd 1st round pick
1st Round – #25 – Michigan linebacker and defensive back – Jabrill Peppers
Atlanta Falcons: (Trade up from Seahawks – 5 Spots)
1st Round – #26 – UCLA defensive end – Takkarist McKinley – The Richmond, California native swore to his grandmother that he was going to make it and get out of Richmond before she passed. 30 seconds after he told her, she closed her eyes and passed away. Tonight he did for her. He says if it wasn’t for his grandmother he wouldn’t be here.

1st Round – #31 – Alabama linebacker – Reuben Foster – Foster was regarded as the No. 1 inside linebacker prospect of his class.
