Cam Newton opened his press conference by expressing his thanks to all the armed forces. The fashion forward Carolina Panthers star who has caught flack from the media over just about everything changed it up.

Later, Cam pretended to walk out on a reporter’s question about his choice of locker room music after speaking with the media for about 10 minutes. The quarterback jokingly blared Adele once again as media filed into the locker room.

Cam explained that his taste in music has an “aggressive softness” and that to tone down some of the testosterone, a little Beyoncé and a little Adele doesn’t hurt.
