Loria had agreed to sell the team to an investment group led by Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter Group. The main guy who oversee the team’s business and baseball operations will be Sherman. Bruce will be the controlling owner.

The first order of business for the Marlins new owners is the new owners are planning to remove the lame home run monstrosity. Apparently, Jeter knows what a class organization looks like and right now the Marlins needs some clean up.
