CelebNSports247.com reported on Eric Reid’s late helmet-to-helmet to the Patriots tight end Ben Watson, but its obvious that it was NOT intentional.

Too many bogus reports are flooding in with opinionated aspects about the incident. It appears some outlets are suggesting that Reid hit Watson for his Tweet that SLAMS him for criticism of the Jay Z/NFL partnership which comes from NESN.

Reid stated that he had no clue Benjamin Watson had included him in a Tweet (as seen above):

I didn’t even know he tweeted me.

What is this the #MeTooMovement for NFL players?

While many critics and Twitter wannabees talk a bunch of crazy about Eric Reid’s helmet-to-helmet Ben Watson he responded to the claims as we previously reported.

Reid clearly stated:

I’m not analyzing who has the ball in their hand and what they tweeted at me while I’m playing the game. Just trying to stop him from getting a first down.

He added that he “anticipates” a fine for his late hit:

I looked at the replay. Yeah, he was down. We’ll see what the league decides to do with it. I anticipate myself getting a fine. But I’m just playing the game.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Friday morning that Reid’s hit is being evaluated by the league, with the expectation being that a fine — not a suspension — will be coming.

NOTE: Reid and Watson had exchanged pleasantries during the game before that play. Eric also tried to help him onto his feet but Watson stayed sitting down on the turf for a few more moments and eventually was taken to the Patriots’ locker room. He didn’t return to the game.

Eric concluded:

I just asked him if he was OK if he could stand up. You hate to see somebody get hurt.

In other news, Eric hinted to the Panthers to hir Colin Kaepernick?
