Ezekiel Elliott Accepts Blame Loss to SeaHawks

Sunday NFL had a lot happening but mostly at the Seattle Seahawks vs Dallas Cowboys game after The Cowboys lost 24-13.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott stood up as a man and accepted full blame for the team’s 24-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. It got so bad on the field that someone threated Zeke. But Elliot admits “I dropped the ball. That loss is on me.” Read on to get more details…

CelebNSports247.com reports that Ezekiel Elliott was flagged for an illegal touch of a forward pass on what would have been a 31-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter.

It just wasn’t Zeke’s day because he also fumbled the ball away in the fourth while the Cowboys were driving down 24-6.

Ezekiel Elliott told reporters:

I had no idea [I was out of bounds]. That’s on me. I’ve got to have better awareness of the sideline. That’s it.

Zeke added:

I had a poor performance today. Did well in the run game, but overall, I dropped the ball. That loss is on me.

Elliott concluded:

You can say whatever, but at the end of the day, when you’ve got the ball in your hands, that’s the team in your hands. Me being a leader on the team, me being a better player on this team, I got to do a better job of taking care of the ball. That cost us the game.
