Justin Verlander and his fiancée, Kate Upton, have skipped off to Italy to get married this week. Read on for more…
Justin Verlander who got a huge smooch from love Kate Upton when his team clinched the World Series in Game 7 Wednesday night, will be tying the knot with his supermodel fiancée in Italy this weekend.
It’s been roughly 18 months since the couple got engaged, dealing with whether he wanted to waive his no-trade clause from the Detroit Tigers along the way. Ultimately, going along with it and it paid off handsomely.
We told you earlier this morning that his teammate Carlos Correa proposed to his longtime girlfriend on the field immediately after winning the World Series.
The couple announced their engagement at last year’s Met Gala with a one-of-a-kind ring designed by Verlander and jeweler Anita Ko. Justin and Kate have been keeping their relationship on the low since they started dating in 2014.
Not only that, they’ve been able to keep their wedding plans tight-lipped for the past year and a half, until this week, just days before hopping on a plane and getting hitched in Italy.
Regardless, Congrats to Justin and Kate – have a wonderful wedding and all the blessings!
