Who is Kyrie Irving Taking to Uncle Drew Premiere?CelebNSports247.com understands Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving’s point of view because our country is celebrating a day that we came, conquered new land and then killed the natives?

Um, it may be a time for family, but the foundation Thanksgiving is built on is messed up.

Following the Boston Celtics loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday night someone messed up and wished Kyrie Irving Happy Thanksgiving.

The NBA baller replied according to multiple reports:

“F–k Thanksgiving” and declaring that he does not celebrate the holiday.

Irving is not trolling, he has good reason to feel the way he does.

In case you didn’t know, Irving’s family has roots with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota.

LBS reports:

His late mother was a part of the tribe and adopted out of it, while his grandparents and great-grandparents were citizens of Standing Rock.

To him and many others with Native American heritage, Thanksgiving does not represent a time to feast on the harvest, but rather it reminds them of the genocide and conquest of Native Americans by the colonists.

Thanksgiving is NOT for everyone, and we agree with Kyrie. He is one to speak his mind no matter what the case.
