Lakers Lonzo Ball Trades Being Discussed

With a 34-year-old LeBron James on their roster, the Los Angeles Lakers are focused on building a championship contender, which means everybody that doesn’t share the same name as him is up to be traded at any point and at any time.

That leads us to the latest news we are hearing about Los Angeles Lakers former No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball. Read on to find out the latest on Lonzo Ball…

CelebNSports247.com reports that Lonzo Ball saw his name dangled in trade talks as the Lakers front office tried desperately to get Anthony Davis away from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Wow, really?

This means that Lonzo Ball could still find himself on another team by the team the 2019-2020 season kicks off.

According to Fox Sports Radio’s Jason McIntyre, the Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns have offered their first-round picks in this year’s draft for the 21-year-old point guard.

He tweeted:

Best Lonzo Ball trades being discussed now are Suns for 6th pick (Sarver loves him) and Bulls for the 7th pick. Ja Morant best PG in the draft. Garland 2nd but he’s not considered as good a prospect as Lonzo. Neither will be there at 6/7.

Both the Suns and Bulls are in need of a starting-caliber point guard, with the Suns looking to pair someone alongside Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton.  Let’s NOT forget that Anthony Davis recently released a statement for trade to the Lakers, and Ball threatened he would want to be traded if Davis joins.
