LeBron James is holding nothing back when it comes to Charles Barkley. King James attacked Barkley’s character for some off-the-court missteps.

James told ESPN after the Cavs lost 104-97 to Dallas, dropping the defending champions to 7-8 in January. But he is refusing to let Barkley disrespect his legacy.

LeBron James FIRED these SHOTS:

“I’m not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that. I’m not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, ‘I’m not a role model.’ I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying.”

LeBron continued:

“All I’ve done for my entire career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that.”

Everyone knows that Barkley has never been one to hold back his opinion on any player, especially the 11-time All-Star LeBron. James was infuriated when Barkley said James was “whiny” and “inappropriate” and wondered about his motives.

Barkley called James “the best player in the world” but wondered if he really wanted to compete. At first, James dismissed Barkley, saying he was only trying to boost TV ratings for TNT. That’s all changed now, James decided he couldn’t let those comments go so he unleashed on Barkley.

James said:

“He’s a hater. What makes what he says credible? Because he’s on TV? I know he wanted to retire a long time ago, but he can’t. He’s stuck up on that stage every week.”

Then he challenged Barkley to meet him face to face.

He said:

“If this makes him want to talk to me, the schedule’s out there. He knows every road arena I’ll be in. Don’t just come up to me at All-Star and shake my hand and smile.”

In traditional Barkley manor he has responded to King James, and we don’t think LeBron is going to like any of it.

Charles Barkley straight up said, referring to this blast from James on Monday:

“I’m not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, ‘I’m not a role model.'”

He continued:

“We were on the 1st floor. I told the judge I wish it was the 3rd floor.”

Does Barkley want to clear the air with LeBron?

Hell no, what’s the point? Barkley weighed in with this final note without telling LeBron to stick it where the sun don’t shine.

“Why I got to clear the air? It’s not going to change my opinion. This notion that we have to be friends…we’re never going to be friends. I thought LeBron was very whiny these past few weeks. My criticism was legit.”

Thoughts?
