CelebNSports247.com report that the moment Todd Gurley appeared at the Los Angeles Rams’ voluntary workout program he was swarmed by reporters.
Todd Gurley answered a whole slew of questions regarding the status of his knee. The first was regarding his long-term management plan was in place.
Gurley tells ESPN:
All I need to worry about is how I’m feeling right now. I don’t know how I’m going to be feeling six months from now. So like I said, just kind of keep working hard, doing what I’ve been doing these past couple of years.
As for the degenerative knee or arthritis reports, the 24–year-old RB shut it down saying:
I mean, all I can focus on is how I’m doing right now. Feeling pretty good, like I said, taking it day by day and just trying to get better, get ready for the next season.
Rams coach Sean McVay said Monday that Gurley, who last July signed a four-year, $60 million extension, would remain a central part of the offense.
McVay said of Gurley:
Todd has shown that he is capable of carrying the workload. Todd is a guy that’s been a focal point of this offense. He’s going to continue to be.
Something still doesn’t add up with his injury in last year’s playoffs.
Who knows what would have happened in the Superbowl with a healthy Todd Gurley
