Santiago Ponzinibbio Plans to Make 170-pound Rankings

Ponzinibbio currently is not ranking in the 15 UFC welterweight fighters, but the Gente Boa plans to change that in 2017, CelebNSports247.com has learned.

The hunky Argentine MMA fighter plans to take the first step during an UFC Fight Night event in Halifax that takes place on Sunday night (Feb. 19). Santiago Ponzinibbio is taking his first step on the ladder by fighting Nordine Taleb.

“I’m Argentinean. I’ve had most of my fights in Brazil. Argentina and Brazil are great rivals for soccer, so I’m used to being the visitor.”

He added:

“I have been working very hard for a long time.”  Ponzinibbio says he “has much more to give.” Plus, he says, “I will be in the top rankings this year, that is my place.

Ponzinibbio has mapped out a plan for a three-fight winning streak. He’s already proved his MMA skills with Andreas Stahl, Court McGee, and Zak Cummings. Santiago Ponzinibbio has only had one road bump with a TKO loss to Lorenz Larkin 2-years-ago.

Despite, Nordine Taleb, 35, coming off a stunning KO victory over Erick Silva, Santiago Ponzinibbio isn’t worried, stating:

“[I’M] A BETTER FIGHTER THAN [TALEB] IN ALL ASPECTS.”

We guess we must see how the fight goes down, but we hope for the Gente Boa, his winning streak stays solid.
