Warriors Giving Up Klay Thompson

CelebNSports247.com has just heard the latest NBA trade RUMORS putting the Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson in the spotlight.

If this is true, Klay Thompson days are numbered with the Golden State Warriors. Apparently the team heads want to send their shooting guard to Orlando Magic in exchange for power forward, Serge Ibaka.

It is also said that Klay could end up with the Boston Celtics for a four-player deal as well. As it stands, Thompson is now the subject of recent NBA trade rumors. However, its also possible that the Warriors shooting guard would be traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks.

The news is rather shocking since the GSWs seem to have one the best roster of players currently. Plus the Warriors has two of the top three NBA stars, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. Trading Klay seems rather odd.

Why is Klay Thompson on the chopping block?

GSW seemingly disappoints its fans this season with some losses. Rumors are rife that the team has to let go of Thompson despite his being a key player to the Warriors since he has been continuously under-performing.

While Thompson’s records are slumping, reports have it that he is pointing at Durant as the reason for his dropping performance. Previous reports suggest that Durant is planning to destroy the chemistry between Curry and Thompson. Instead of a fiasco of finger pointing the teams head honcho’s would rather nip the problem and remove Thompson.

What has Klay Thompson said about these RUMORS?

Thompson has debunked all of these rumors. He says Durant has nothing to do with his misses.

ITechPost weighs in with this report:

It is still unconfirmed whether the Warriors’ guard will head to Celtics or to Magic.
If the trade happens, fans may have to see Thompson going to Magic for Ibaka. This will then lead to a reunion for the latter and Durant who played together for Oklahoma City Thunder from 2009 to 2016’s last season. On the other hand, there are also chances to see Thompson heading to Celtics for Amir Johnson, Avery Bradley, and the team’s first-round draft pick in 2018. The four-player deal is said to be a legal deal as stated under NBA trade and salary cap guidelines, which can be checked on the ESPN Trade Machine.
