Rapper Travis Scott has been officially slated to perform in February’s Super Bowl halftime show alongside Maroon 5 and Big Boi in Atlanta.

That is a bunch of BS since the NFL already has a fund to donate to social-justice injustice since Colin Kaepernick started his movement.

But the media has hyped Travis Scott like he’s accomplished something when in reality, he’s accomplished nothing.

To make things worse, the report went on to claim that Scott spoke with Kaepernick and that the two formed “mutual respect.”

Kaepernick’s girlfriend, Nessa Diab, refuted the report in a tweet, calling on Scott to “stop lying.”

Radio host Ebro Darden also took issue with the notion that Kaepernick was consulted about the show.

Variety reports:

A source close to Scott said that while the two did not necessarily agree, they emerged from the conversation with mutual respect and understanding, with the rapper taking the stance that everyone makes a statement in their own way and he felt that the money going toward Dream Corps, combined with the platform provided by the Super Bowl, will do some good. The source also said that Scott would not confirm his performance until the donation was locked in.

Darden also took an issue to the NFL choosing the same organization, Dream Corps, that the Players Coalition — led by Malcolm Jenkins — dealt with. They suggested that the NFL was using Dream Corps as a means to keep players from peacefully protesting social injustice rather than genuinely working towards the movement’s mission.
