John Tavares was stretchered off the Ice immediately to seek medical attention.

John Tavares left the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on a stretcher after being accidentally knocked down with a knee to the face by Canadiens forward Corey Perry.

According to the teams’ statement on Friday, Tavares has been discharged from the hospital and will be out of games indefinitely.
