CelebnSports247.com reports that Jaylen Twyman agent Drew Rosenhaus said he was in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time.”

Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN that Jalen Twyman was in Washington visiting an aunt.

He said:

In talking to him today, he’s going to be OK — that’s all that matters. We’re thankful he’s OK. He will make a full recovery.

According to his agent [via ESPN], the 21-year-old suffered superficial exit wounds and will not need surgery.

Adam Schefter added that Twyman does not need surgery and his x-rays were negative.

The 6-2, 290 pound Twyman had a breakout 2019 campaign in which he exploded for 10.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss to earn First-Team All-ACC honors, as well as All-American recognition from multiple publications.
He took the COVID-19 opt-out in 2020.
