Adrian Peterson Still Disciplines Son with Belt

Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson just revealed that he still uses a belt to discipline his son.

This is NOT going to land well with society since the days of disciplining your kids by hitting is frowned upon these days. Read on to hear what Adrian Peterson just admitted…

Adrian Peterson Still Disciplines Son with BeltCelebNSports247.com reports four years after Adrian Peterson was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge for reckless or negligent injury to a child he admits he learned nothing.

If you recall, Adrian Peterson was suspended by the NFL, but he recently admitted that he still disciplines his kids using physical forms of punishment.

Adrian told the Bleacher Report, “I had to discipline my son and spank him the other day with a belt.”

Peterson says:

There are different ways I discipline my kids. I didn’t let that change me.

Spankings are sometimes necessary, though, he insists, especially after repeat offenses. (The belt incident came after he gave his son four chances to correct his wrong.) Peterson says he finds comfort in knowing these lessons will help his children make better decisions in the future. Corporal punishment helped him become the man he is today, after all — a man who loves his kids. My kids love me. When they want something, they come ask dad. They enjoy being around me.

Thoughts?

Here is a video of his son:
