Meanwhile, Colin Kaepernick found support from boxer Adrien Broner at the Chris Brown concert…
He was caught by boxing star Adrien Broner, who snapped a photo op with the former NFL star, who drew a large amount of attention last year. Colin Kaepernick started a movement by kneeling down during the national anthem. While many athletes like Broner supported Kaepernick, the NFL didn’t take the movement with open arms.
Now he is a free agent and the NFL is sending him a message that you have to play ball to play in the NFL. It’s been debated that he’s been black-balled and that is why no team has picked him up.
Meanwhile, Adrien Broner posted a photo (above) that read “Support” – Broner was a big supporter of Colin’s national anthem protest and his ‘Know Your Rights Camp’ campaign.
Another huger supporter is Chris Brown, a longtime friend of Colin’s. Kaeps girlfriend, Nessa, is a top DJ at Hot 97 in New York, so she most likely hooked him up with tickets. Some are saying Colin might be scoutting teams on the East coast like the New York Jets?
Across town, radio host Charlamagne Tha God was spotted wearing a Colin Kaepernick shirt on ESPN’s “SC6” Monday to promote his book “Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It.”
Charlamagne described Kaepernick as “the epitome of black privilege.” He went on to defend Colin stating:
“[E]ven though he can’t get a job in the NFL, he shouldn’t be chastised for doing the right thing.”
Adrien Broner (33-2, 24 KOs) was offended that Bradley recently named him as a potential “tune-up” opponent for a ring return.
The former four division world champion Adrien Broner has lashed out at Tim Bradley, ranting:
“A Tim Bradley stop playing with me. I will beat yo ass. Bitch ass n—a talking bout tune-up. N—a I will tune yo bitch ass up. Stop talking crazy, bald head Uncle Tom ass n—a.”
When asked by Fight Hub TV what he thought of Shawn Porter beating Andre Berto, Broner weighed in saying:
“I don’t regret anything! All I can do is get better! I’m happy for Shawn Porter!”
