Bucs QB Jameis Winston Dropped By His AgentsCelebNSports247.com has learned via Grega Auman that Jameis Winston no longer is part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to Bucs and NFL writer for Tampa Bay Times Greg Auman revealed first thing this morning:

Bucs QB Jameis Winston is no longer represented by agents Greg Genske and Kenny Felder, who were with him since before the draft. Felder declines to comment on whether the move was his or Winston’s. @ProFootballTalk had the news first.

Meanwhile, CBS News reports:

Winston is the one that initiated the move. However, reports also suggest that the change has been in the works long before the suspension was handed down. Though, Winston has to wait at least five days before hiring a new agent. No Word if he has an agent in mind.

Genske and Felder, of course, “negotiated” the former No. 1 overall pick’s rookie contract, but now they’ve parted ways. The Bucs picked up the fifth-year option on back in April. His deal will conclude in 2019 when the Buccaneers will be on the hook for $20.9 million.

Winston will enter free agency if he doesn’t sign an extension with Tampa Bay.

Why Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston got Dropped:

The news of his agents dropping him comes on the heels of the Uber driver who charged Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston with sexual harassment, has released a statement thanking the NFL for suspending the player.

The statement reads via Breitbart:

I am glad to see the NFL discipline, Jameis Winston. I do appreciate his apology, even if it needs some work.

I would like to publicly acknowledge the NFL Investigators, particularly Lisa Friel and John Iannarelli, for their kind, professional and thorough investigation.

My experience should highlight the importance of believing women when they have the courage to come forward about sexual assault. Perhaps that night could have been prevented if others had been believed before me.
