Where could Cam Newton be headed?
According to MSN.com the team that stands out near the top is the Denver Broncos. If Newton were to sign with Denver, it would be a huge surprise. The Broncos, after all, have publicly pinned their future on last season’s second-round pick, Drew Lock out of Missouri.
Lock had a positive impact on Denver’s offense as a rookie. But the possibility of Cam heading to Denver is strong since the other five teams have plans for other promising QB’s to start for their team.
Basically, the Washington franchise has already made it clear Newton isn’t in its plans. The Patriots don’t have any money for Newton. However, the Los Angeles Chargers have already indicated Tyrod Taylor is their guy. And the Miami Dolphins plan to take a top rookie in the first round.
