CelebNSports247.com has the latest on Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott who is sticking to his guns saying he has no regrets on his statement about NFL Kneelers.

Though, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott feels that his comments about NFL kneelers were completely misunderstood.

While speaking with Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Prescott said he’s aware of what’s been said of him on social media.

Prescott also says that he is completely aware of being criticized by fans, media and even other NFL players for being a sellout, but he feels his views on kneeling was taken out of context.

He kept it straightforward, instead, it all backfired in his face.

Dak said:

I am not oblivious to it. You get on social media you see It. It doesn’t bother me. I said what I said. You have an opinion. Everyone else has an opinion. They are entitled to it as well. I accepted what they said and respect it. They should respect mine

If you remember this is the statement that caused the criticism and backlash for Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott:

Prescott said:

I’d never protest during anthem, and I don’t think that’s the time or the venue to do so. The game of football has always brought me such a peace, and I think it does the same for a lot of people – a lot of people playing the game, a lot of people watching the game, a lot of people that have any impact of the game. So when you bring such a controversy to the stadium, to the field, to the game, it takes away . . . from that. It takes away from the joy and the love that football brings a lot of people. For me, I’m all about making a chance and making a difference. I think this whole kneeling, and all of that, was all about just raising awareness, and the fact that we’re still talking about social injustice years later, I think we’ve gotten to that point. I think we’ve proved it. We know about social injustice. I’m up for taking a next step, whatever that step may be for action and not just kneeling.

I’ve always believed in standing up for what I believe in, and that’s what I’m going to continue to do.

Its not like he made a racial slur, or a homophobic tweet like some people. And lets be honest, he just spoke his mind on the issue which basically caused a feud amung the masses. That was NOT his intention.
