Thanks Torrey Smith, Eric Reid Inks Deal with Panthers

Thanks Torrey Smith, Eric Reid Inks Deal with PanthersCelebNSports247.com gave you the drop on NFL veteran safety Eric Reid being cast out like Colin Kaepernick for kneeling for something he believed in.

Well, it looks that the NFL has eased up on the black-balling of Reid since Colin Kaepernick’s Nike campaign has proved that America supports the movement.

Not only is it interesting it is also intriguing that the 49ers made a push to ink Reid at this point in quiet.

There had been no previous talk about the 49ers being interested in bringing Reid back into the fold. Despite Reid’s willingness to return at the same salary of his last deal with the team. There wasn’t any significant movement and when Torrey Smith said the Panthers need a player like Reid to the press, Carolina owners listened.

As of today, the Panthers announced the signing of Eric Reid posting a photo of him on social media with his helmet. Reid inked a one-year deal for the rest of the 2018 season with the Carolina Panthers.

Shortly after Eric signed his one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers his former Niners teammate ad friend Colin Kaepernick congratulated him via Instagram.

Colin writes:

Congratulations to my brother @e_reid35, an all-pro safety who should have been signed the first day of free agency, who has signed a football contract. He has was the FIRST person to kneel alongside me. Eric is a social justice warrior, continues to support his wife, two beautiful daughters, and communities in need.

Now, Kaepernick needs to get signed to a team. It’s only right the NFL does right by great players and NOT by what President Trump thinks. He’s no athlete. Plus, San Francisco 49ers fans want Kaep back.
