Kaepernick Gets Support From #VeteransForKaepernick

CelebNSports247.com is NOT condemming Colin Kaepernick in any way. He is a NFL player who has the right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH and these days its nice to see someone doing something.

What has #BlackLivesMatter actually done to STOP the police brutality?

The brought awareness to everyone. They have people tweeting their hearts out, but when it comes to taking a stand and making a statement. Colin Kaepernick is the man who is SPEAKING LOUD without saying anything. He’s just sitting down on the national anthem.

There are players like Eric Byrnes who is now stating “Why I choose to stand while Colin Kaepernick sits”!

Eric points out that I also agree with a lot of Kap’s message. I believe that there is a disturbing amount of social injustice within our country and even more so around the world. There is no doubt that ACTION needs to be taken.

The problem is that sitting down during the National Anthem is a divisive action and I truly believe the only way to fix social inequality is through UNITY NOT DIVISION. – Mercury News

Eric Byrnes suggests to the Mercury News:

“Kap has a unique opportunity to use his voice and his actions to bring people together. If he wants to make a real difference he needs to take a big time leadership role in different community outreach programs. He should use every free moment he has to speak and moderate town hall meetings across the country, bringing inner city youth and police officers together.”

Maybe Eric has a point. Then Byrnes explains why he stands when Kaepernick sits:

Ultimately, he made the decision to sit through the national anthem and articulately expressed his reasons for doing so.

Me, I am going to stand.
