Here the 5 things we learned about Kentavious Caldwell-Pope arrest:

  • An officer pulled the car over. He reported that there was “a strong odor of intoxicants emitted from the interior.” He also states Caldwell-Pope’s eyes “were very glossy and his breath smelled of intoxicants.”
  • Caldwell-Pope, 24, received a charge of operating while intoxicated (OWI).
  • The arrest happened just hours after the Pistons lost to the Miami Heat on a last-second shot Tuesday night.
  • His drink of choice was Hennessy with a water back.
  • Next, The Pistons player FAILED his sobriety tests (walking and turning, standing on one leg, reciting the alphabet and counting backwards). It was an EPIC FAIL since he did not walk heel-to-toe on multiple steps, counted incorrectly while standing on one leg. Plus, messed up on the alphabet from “B” to “N” and continued past “N.” When it came to counting backwards from 86 to 69 and missed one number.
