CelebNSports247.com has gotten word that Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett said during Super Bowl Media night that he wasn’t sure if he would go to the White House if the Patriots won the Super Bowl.

The New England Patriots tight end said:

“I don’t know, I’ve got to win the Super Bowl. But most likely no. I don’t support the guy that’s in the (White) House.”

Well, the Patriots won Super Bowl 51, and after the game Martellus Bennett confirmed that he will NOT be going to the White House this time. Sorry Trump, he doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

Brandon George, the Dallas Cowboys beat writer for The Dallas Morning News was first to report the news that Bennett confirmed that he would not be heading to meet President Donald Trump.

He writes:

“Patriots TE Martellus Bennett said he will not go to the White House to honor Super Bowl win. Not worried about what his owner thinks.”

George followed it with this tweet:

“Will Patriots TE Martellus Bennett make trip to White House if team goes to honor Super Bowl win? “I’m not going to go.””
