CelebNSports247.com reports that Los Angeles Rams Nickell Robey-Coleman is unapologetic when it comes to New England Patriots QB Tom Brady.
Nickell Robey-Coleman has already made headlines for his comments about Tom Brady ahead of the Super Bowl, and he’s not really backing down.
The 27-year-old Robey-Coleman says age has ‘taken a toll’ on Tom Brady:
In a lengthy interview with Bleacher Report’s Tyler Dunne, Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman stressed the importance of not being intimidated by the New England Patriots.
When questioned about whether or not he believes the five-time Super Bowl champion is not the player he used to be, Robey-Coleman said:
Yes. Yes. Age has definitely taken a toll. For him to still be doing it, that’s a great compliment for him. But I think that he’s definitely not the same quarterback he was. Movement. Speed. Velocity. Arm strength. He still can sling it, but he’s not slinging it as much.
Here is where Robey-Coleman back-handed compliment took shape.
Nickell straight up said:
Whatever he was doing — because of his age and all that — he’s not doing as much of that anymore. He’s still doing the same things; he’s just not doing as much of it. And sometimes, it’s not the sharpest. But it still gets done.
Despite the feathers ruffled, the Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman is NOT backing down about what he stated. #FACTS
However, the cornerback’s comments are the perfect fuel for the veteran quarterback to have to win another ring.
