According to Tyler McNair, dance helped him find himself again since his father was killed by his jumpoff 7 years ago. Tyler is 6-foot-4, and the son of the late Titans quarterback Steve McNair. Steve was one of the biggest athletes to ever play sports in Nashville. Last year, McNair was a starting player on the court. This year he’s dancing at the Brentwood Academy.
Mechelle told The Tennessean that she was supportive of her son’s decision:
“His dad would say if they ever wanted to do something other than sports, let them do it. A lot of people will make them play basketball or football because they’re athletes. It’s not fun if they’re doing something they don’t want to do.”
His former Brentwood Academy basketball coach Hubie Smith said:
“He could defend any position on the floor. He was our best, if not one of our best, defenders. I was afraid he’d regret it. I never coached a kid who didn’t finish his senior year.”
Steve McNair son said:
“For almost a year, we tried to work on a schedule where I could do both and it never seemed to work out. Basketball is a big commitment, and dance is such a big commitment.”
He added:
“Eventually I just decided to just stick with dance because it was something that I thought about all the time. Like, I was always trying to work things around dance. And for me, I made it my decision to make it to the next level of dance.”

Last week, Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines for punching the wall inside Lambeau Field following Big Blue’s 38-13 loss to the Packers.
Odell apparently NEEDED to blow off some steam and get a release. ODJ faced tons of stress since everyone was criticizing him for dropping so many passes.
We guess he need some bedroom consoling. A pretty blonde was spotted leaving Odell’s hotel room a few days after the game.
