CelebNSports247.com has learned that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is looking to be healthy for the start of the 2016 regular season.

Dez Bryant happily told reporters he has been cleared by the Cowboys but will be held out until training camp as a precaution. However, Bryant also said he didn’t know if he would take part in next week’s minicamp.

Bleachreport has this update:

Bryant repeatedly used the word “cautious” in terms of the team’s approach regarding his recovery during his conversation with reporters, per Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan.

Meanwhile, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that after undergoing an X-ray, Bryant had been cleared to “progress to football drills.” Rapoport noted Bryant’s “not all back” but that he “can increase cutting.” Rapoport also said that Bryant is considered to be “in the clear.”

Moreover, Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram, who added:

“Bryant will be held out when the Dallas Cowboys ratchet up their offseason work with OTA practices next week.”

Bryant has had no setbacks from the fractured right foot that limited him to nine games and a career-low 31 catches last year.

He has done well with the conditioning and individual work so far, but the Cowboys will err on the side of caution with Bryant.

According to reports, the team loves what they’ve seen from Dez so far.
