CelebnSports247.com reports that Adrian Broner was reportedly arrested in Kentucky due to an outstanding warrant in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Adrian Broner was arrested and booked around 1 am, and police took him to the Kenton County Jail, where his mugshot was taken.
A warrant for Broner’s arrest was issued because he was reportedly a fugitive from another state.
Online court records noted that Adrian Broner failed to enter a treatment program, which sparked the warrant for his arrest. No bond has been issued for Broner at the moment.
News of this legal situation comes a year after Broner was reportedly jailed after being held in contempt of court.
It’s unclear exactly what case this warrant stems from — but it does originate in Cuyahoga County (where Cleveland is) … and could well be in relation to a lawsuit he lost in that jurisdiction about a year ago, when a woman claimed he’d assaulted her in a nightclub.
According to TMZ, it doesn’t look like Broner is going to be able to bond out either … there’s no amount set for him, which means he’ll probably be extradited to the authorities in the neighboring state.
