When it comes to straight up stupid shit, CelebNSports247.com has a suggestion for the onetime world-champion boxer Adrien Broner is your man, since he was ordered Tuesday to spend 30 days in jail, after he didn’t show up for a scheduled trial.

Like we said…stupid shit!

Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Robert Ruehlman found Broner, 26, in contempt of court.

Broner was scheduled to stand trial Tuesday morning on charges of felonious assault and aggravated robbery in connection with a Jan. 21 incident outside Madison Bowl. He had been free on bond since being charged.

When Broner didn’t appear in court, Ruehlman issued a warrant for his arrest. Broner did eventually show up, but Ruehlman still imposed the jail sentence.

Broner appeared to be sick and said he believed someone drugged him the night before, but the judge wasn’t buying it.

What is even more sad is that, Broner turned down career high money to fight Manny Pacquiao. Now he is going to be spending a month in jail for something that could have been easily avoided.
