Alex Rodriguez, who has been in Cano’s shoes before knows there is life on the other side of a PED suspension. Find out what A-Rod is saying…
Celebes, we have the latest from Alex Rodriguez who shared his thoughts during the ESPN “Sunday Night Baseball” broadcast about his friend and former Yankees teammate’s 80-game suspension.
Alex Rodriguez tells Sunday Night Baseball:
He called it “a tough one for me because I do love Robbie.”
Rodriguez went on to say:
I do know that it will be a long road back, a tough road back, but I’m confident that Robinson Cano is going to come back and continue his spectacular career and I hope at the same time he can learn a great lesson and make his life even better.
If you recall, A-Rod was suspended for all of the 2014 seasons for PED use and his connection to the Biogenesis scandal. Alex damaged his chances of being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Luckily, Cano still has a chance to be inducted into the HOF.
As for Alex Rodriguez, he is doing fine, he went on to play two more seasons with the Yankees and now has a budding broadcast career working for FOX and ESPN.
