Anthony Johnson Retires Following UFC 210 Loss

CelebNSports247.com has learned that the light heavyweight fighter Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (22-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC) announced his retirement in the octagon.

Following Johnson’s title fight loss to the champ Daniel Cormier (19-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC), Anthony gave an emotional goodbye. He was thankful for another opportunity, not related to MMA.

He said this was something that he had to do for himself. He yelled to the crowd “I love you all.” Johnson said that his family and coach were the only people who knew that last night’s fight was his last no matter what the outcomes was.

In an emotional goodbye, Anthony went on to say tearfully that it was a decision that he needed to do, but he has another job lined up. Johnson was tired of getting punched around in the octagon. He said his goodbye’s and said “Thank you to all his fans and a big shout out to Goldie” who was unable to make it. He reiterated that he has nothing but love for his fans and fellow fighters.
