Flip and get the details on Sammy Watkins + Luke Kuechly…
CelebNSports247.com has just learned that Buffalo Bills fans can rejoice that their wide receiver Sammy Watkins is back!
Watkins has been activated to the 53-man roster on Saturday. He is headed back to the field after he broke a bone in his foot during the off-season and had surgery to repair the damage. Though his return is listed as questionable.
Rex Ryan was bullish on Watkins’ availability, saying he thinks the receiver is “good to go” and added “we’re definitely going to get him in there,” via ESPN’s Mike Rodak. The Bills officially activated Watkins
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports he will play on Sunday when the Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at home. if you recall, Watkins tried to come back from the injury too soon and re-aggravated it after playing in just two games. With that said, Buffalo has decided that they won’t rush Watkins back into a prominent role this Sunday.
Sammy Watkins will be returning in a limited fashion.
Carolina Panthers Luke Kuechly out with concussion!
Linebacker Luke Kuechly of the Carolina Panthers, has not been so lucky. He has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders. Kuechly continues to recover from a concussion.
It’s been reported, even though Kuechly and center Ryan Kalil (shoulder injury) are on the IR, they’re still traveling with the team. They hope to potentially playing in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks, per Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer.
Sportsnaut reports:
Kuechly suffered his second bad concussion in as many years last Thursday against the New Orleans Saints. He broke down in tears while being carted off the field, a result of the concussion more than an emotional response to being injured, many have surmised.
He has been reportedly considering seeking a second opinion about what to do going forward as it pertains to his health. Additionally, head coach Ron Rivera said earlier this week that there is no known timetable for his return to action.
