Knicks legend Charles Oakley blow out on Wednesday night with James Dolan got him 86d. Now Oakley’s Attorney states, “I’ll deal with it in court!!!”
Get all the tea spilling about Charles Oakley being BANNED from Madison Square Garden…
Talk about an SLAP IN HIS EGO, Charles Oakley BANNED from Madison Square Garden has to really suck big time, and this comes from the higher ups and The Garden.
CelebNSports247.com has learned that Charles Oakley unruly behavior was uncalled for and apparently Knicks owner James Dolan doesn’t want him around.
Ouch!
The former NBA All-Star is in a pickle now, especially since it’s been reveled:
Oakley “will never be allowed to enter MSG again, even if he purchases a ticket.”
The news was announced by Michael Kay on The Michael Kay Show. However, Knicks owner James Dolan said Oakley’s ban won’t necessarily be forever.
Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post said this about Charles Oakley Ban:
“I’ll talk about [the ban] in a little bit, but it’s not necessarily a lifetime ban. We need to keep the Garden safe for anybody who goes there.”
Dolan went on to say that Oakley’s place in Knicks history doesn’t absolve him. He adds:
“I understand that he was a big star, but that doesn’t excuse people from that type of behavior.”
Oakley later thanked fans for supporting him throughout the situation. Maybe he will be apologizing for his actions, next week, once things cool down.
He tweeted:
“I love NYC I LOVE the Knicks that you for all your love .. I will be holding a Press conference next week Let’s go Knicks”
Then James Dolan made a slighted comment, that cannot be proven. Dolan also said:
Oakley has a “problem with anger,” and “he may have a problem with alcohol; we don’t know.”
Oakley’s attorney, Alex Spiro, said on the anger and alcohol-related claims:
“I’ll deal with it in court.”
Yikes, Dolan put his foot in his mouth with that comment. Alex Spiro is ready to attack now.
Thoughts?
