CelebNSports247.com is hearing since the 49ers have found a coach and GM for their team they can now look towards the future of the 49ers.

With the NFL draft quickly approaching, Clemson QB Deshaun Watson is topping the list for the bay area teams knight in shining armor. The 49ers have the 2nd draft pick at the 2017 NFL draft and apparently they may be toying around the notion that Deshaun Watson will be that quarterback to take the team to Super Bowl XLII!

Watson went out in style with a game-winning touchdown toss in the waning seconds of the College Football Playoff championship game. Shortly following his astonishing plays on the field the college QB declared his intentions to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

Watson said, per Associated Press:

“I think it’s my time to go. Kind of end it with a bang.”

Draft analyst Walter Cherepinsky aka Walter Football wrote:

“It’s worth noting that team sources have Kizer rated higher than Deshaun Watson. They like Kizer because of his arm strength, mobility and upside.”

Deshaun Watson skills on the field:

TBL reports, Watson may have been college football’s best player in 2016. He averaged 7.9 yards/attempt, ranking outside the Top 30 nationally. Watson threw 17 interceptions which ranked outside the Top 100 nationally. Seven Clemson regular-season games were decided by a touchdown or less. Watson threw multiple picks in four of them.

Moreover, Watson was less effective as a runner. He had five 100-plus yard games down the stretch in 2015 and totaled more than 1,100 yards. In 2016, he averaged just 3.81 yards/carry en route to 629 yards rushing.
