CelebNSports247.com reports that the Dallas Cowboys finished 8-8, the fourth time in nine full seasons that Jason Garrett’s team has finished .500.
Not to mention, but it was also the first time in four seasons that Dak Prescott didn’t have a winning record.
With that said, this means that the Cowboys will more than likely keep quarterback Dak Prescott, but it also means that Dallas head coach Jason Garrett may have coached his last game with the Cowboys.
The Cowboys will miss the postseason for the sixth time in Garrett’s tenure, which may have ended with Sunday’s game.
During week 16 Dallas lost control of its postseason fate losing to the Eagles. And then the Eagles took care of business Sunday against the Giants, winning 34-17 to claim the NFC East and eliminate the Cowboys from playoff contention.
As for the Cowboys QB, Dak Prescott completed 23 of 33 passes for 303 yards and four touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliott ran for 122 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries and caught a receiving touchdown.
Michael Gallup caught five passes for 98 yards and three touchdowns, and Amari Cooper caught four passes for 92 yards.
Meanwhile, this is where things are with head coach Jason Garrett:
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones: “I don’t have any comments or thoughts” on coaching decision that he’ll share now. Says he has “all the respect in the world” for Jason Garrett

Washington finished 3-13 and will draft second, but they will also need to find a new coach, having fired Jay Gruden midseason.
It appears that the Redskins, Browns, and Cowboys will all be looking for a new coach. That is if the Cowboys FIRE head coach Jason Garrett. We will see if they follow the Cleveland Browns lead and give Jason Garrett his walking papers in the new couple hours.
If you recall, when asked about Garrett’s fate, QB Dak Prescott refused to speak on it.
