Is the bromance over? Dak Prescott has improved without Ezekiel Elliott. Since Zeke’s 6 game suspension with The Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott QB skills improved.
According to reports, The Cowboys still have an outside chance of making a playoff run with three games down the stretch despite the absence of Ezekiel Elliott. Read on to see what’s being said about Dak Prescott, and why he’s been a blitz killing machine since Zeke hasn’t been playing…
CelebNSports247.com is hearing that Dak Prescott is playing better without Ezekiel Elliot as his right hand man. Zeke is set to serve the final game of his six-tilt suspension this week, while Cowboys owner Jerry Jones flipped a negative into a positive spin.
Jones made his weekly appearance on KRLD-FM in Dallas stating it ended up being a net positive for Dak Prescott.
Jones said via the Dallas Morning News:
“I’m so happy for our fans. Every day that he walks out there he’s got a chance to improve. And when someone works as hard as he does, and I emphasize that. He is a tremendous worker. And you used to hear those kinds of things about Peyton Manning, just how much he invested in everything he does, every practice.”
He adds:
“When you’ve got that kind of discipline, you’re going to improve. We know that he’s got an unordinary talent. So, we’re just better, frankly. It hurt us to miss Zeke, but as far as Dak is concerned, we’ve got a better player for having gone through this. I don’t recommend it for the Cowboys, of course, but we got a better player. We’ve got a better future because he’s gone through this period of time without Zeke.”

Basically Dak may have struggled without Elliot in the beginning, but the QB has officially bounced back. Prescott has been building the confidence he’s needed without Zeke by his side.
Meanwhile BloggingTheBoys had this to say about Dak Prescott’s improvements on the field:
“On Sunday, Prescott killed the blitz of the New York Giants. He did it so much that people were wondering why the Giants would continue to do something that was damaging their situation so badly. The 2017 version of Prescott is exceeded only by the best year of Romo’s career. Dak sits as the career leader against the blitz with a passer rating of 105.0 (Romo at 90.0, Aikman at 86.2, Drew Bledsoe at 83.9 at and Quincy Carter at 62.6 are the four other Cowboys quarterbacks with 200-plus throws against the blitz in their careers) — he has done this since Week 1 of Year 1 as a Cowboy.”
