The assault was caught on surveillance cameras as Danry Vasquez his girlfriend were leaving baseball practice.

Which makes us wonder if MLB prospect Danry Vasquez still has a chance to get drafted.

After the incident which took place in Corpus Christi, Texas showing a domestic violent act involving Vasquez and his girlfriend. It has been announced by manager Ross Peeples that the Barnstormers made a prompt decision to cut ties with the 24-year old outfielder.

Following the team’s manager announcing they’re serving ties, his minor league team Lancaster Barnstormers released this statement:

“There is no choice but to sever the relationship. Neither I, nor the Barnstormers’ organization, cannot condone or associate with that behavior.”

This is becoming ridiculous that athletes continue to assault their loved ones and still get paid millions to play professionally in sports. The NFL, MLB, NBA and MLS needs to be more stern with athletes like Ray Rice and others. They teams need to FIRE the athletes who are violent or cut their money in half. Harsher punishment is NEEDED because this is out of control.
