CelebNSports247.com has learned that a video surfaced on social media that of two women fighting over their man Big Papi, the problem is neither of the women was his wife.

It has only taken 24hrs for the dirt to begin to surface and what we have learned is that David ‘Big Papi’ Ortiz was allegedly shot as a result of dealing with the wife of a drug lord. This might explain why the shooter came into the bar and only targeted him.

Now that David and his wife Tiffany Ortiz are back in the US in Boston, his wife released a statement in regards to ‘Big Papi.’

Tiffany assures fans and family that her husband is ‘resting comfortably’ after having a second surgery upon arriving in Boston on Monday. Yesterday he was in ICU in a DR clinic.

Mrs. Ortiz first thanked the Boston Red Sox franchise for their efforts to have a plane ready for him to take him from his hometown in Santo Domingo to Boston in her statement.

He’s is stable, awake and resting comfortably this morning in the ICU where he is expected to remain for the next several days. On behalf of me and my family, I want to thank John and Linda Henry, Tom Werner, Sam Kennedy and the Boston Red Sox for all that they are doing for David and our family, as well as Dr. Larry Ronan and the amazing staff at Massachusetts General Hospital.

What Tiffany did not speak on was that her husband has allegedly been dealing with the wife of a drug lord which might explain the women fighting below:
