Deshaun Watson TRADE: He Chooses The Browns Over Saints + Falcons!
Oh, how things can change in 24 hours.
Yesterday it was being said that The Browns were out of the running in getting Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson since he was meeting with the Saints for the second time. now that he won’t be charged for the 22 claims from multiple women, Watson is back on top of the most wanted player list and the Browns got him.
Deshaun Watson has shocked everyone with his latest decision on where he wants to play in the NFL…
CelebnSports247.com reports that Deshaun Watson changed his mind on the Falcons and Saints, and has gone back to one of his previous suitors, choosing to join the Cleveland Browns instead.
The QB reportedly waived his no-trade clause Friday, allowing him to be traded to Cleveland in a deal that also nets him a five-year, $230 million contract — fully guaranteed.
When Watson is able to suit up again next remains a question, as the NFL’s personal conduct investigation into the 26-year-old is reportedly ongoing.
Watson’s new contract will pay him $184 million over the first four years of the deal — a $12 million per season increase on the four-year, $160 million extension he signed with the Texans in 2020 — which had yet to begin.
Adam Schefter dropped the news on this shocking twist:

The former Texans quarterback hasn’t been on the field since the 2020 season as he’s been at the center of a legal battle surrounding 22 civil suits accusing him of sexual misconduct. He received some clarity to his legal situation last week when a Harris County, Texas grand jury did not find enough evidence to charge him on nine criminal counts.
He was once considered the most electrifying quarterback on the field. Could he bring it all back with his new team? Finger crossed.
