Dodger blog announced:

McCreery, who was designated for assignment Monday by Atlanta, made his Major League debut on Aug. 9 at Washington. Between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett, the Southern California native posted a 3.62 ERA with 71 strikeouts in 54 2/3 innings.

The 6-foot-9 reliever spent the majority of the year with Mississippi, where he had a 3.83 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 47 innings in 34 relief appearances. McCreery also made eight relief appearances with Gwinnett, allowing two runs with 10 strikeouts in 7 2/3 innings.

McCreery, who grew up in La Verne and attended Azusa Pacific University, was drafted in the 22nd round in 2014 by the Angels. He’s gone 8–10 with a 3.42 ERA and nine saves in 133 relief appearances in the Angels and Braves organizations. The Braves acquired McCreery in May 2016 in exchange for right-handed pitcher Jhoulys Chacin.

Now, Adam McCreery moves to a new team for the upcoming 2019/20 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
