After TMZ’s article claimed that the couple were caught in a physical altercation, Dominique Penn is setting the record straight about her incident with Donald Penn.

Dominique issued a joint statement through their representative, Denise White, disputed any physical altercation.

The statement reads as follows:

There was a verbal disagreement, there was NO physical altercation. The two are in the middle of a divorce and it is a hard time for both parties.

Raiders owner Mark Davis has a “zero tolerance policy” for domestic violence and told ESPN.com Monday night he had spoken with Penn.

Davis said:

If, in fact, there was physical violence, then I would have to take appropriate action.

A police report has yet to be released.
