In a strange turn to the left Ohio State’s Eli Apple Says Falcons Coach Asked If He Likes Men which violates the NFL policies that prohibit discrimination!!!

CelebNSports247.com has this weird and interesting tea that nobody seems to catch, but we did on the flip…

We guess this question makes sense coming from Atlanta coach Dan Quinn asking Eli Apple if he liked men, since Atlanta is known as the city with the most men on the DL!

If you’re a man, you know what we are talking about.  Sorry ladies, we’ve been there and seen it first hand. The dude with all the ladies seems to always be the one with all the homies as well.

The Falcons took it to an uncomfortable level at this year’s event, according to Ohio State’s Eli Apple. The cornerback prospect was a guest on Comcast SportsNet’s Breakfast On Broad on Friday, and he was asked about strange Combine questions.

Eli Apple reveals that The Falcons coach indirectly asked him if he was gay, by asking if he like men.

“The Falcons coach, one of the coaches, was like, ‘So do you like men?’ It was like the first thing he asked me,” Apple said. “It was weird. I was just like, ‘no.’ He was like, ‘if you’re going to come to Atlanta, sometimes that’s how it is around here, you’re going to have to get used to it.’

“I guess he was joking but they just ask most of these questions to see how you’re going to react.”

Was it a trick question of did somebody kind of hint he was interested? Now we are not saying anything, we are just reading between the questioning.

Shortly after being reminded that the Falcons are not permitted to ask such a questions thanks to The NFL policies that prohibit discrimination.

Remember a couple of years ago, in the aftermath of Michael Sam’s announcement that he’s gay, policies changed that prohibit discrimination.

Of course, Atlanta coach Dan Quinn quickly apologized through a statement Friday:

“I am really disappointed in the question that was asked by one of our coaches. I have spoken to the coach that interviewed Eli Apple and explained to him how inappropriate and unprofessional this was. I have reiterated this to the entire coaching staff and I want to apologize to Eli for this even coming up. This is not what the Atlanta Falcons are about and it is not how we are going to conduct ourselves.”

Thoughts?
