According to reports, CelebNSports247.com has learned that Melinda Karlsson alleges that Monika Caryk took the time to post hundreds of derogatory online messages aimed at her and her husband.
Erik Karlsson wife Melinda Karlsson claims that the posts were straight up harassment and cyberbullying. She even goes on to say that Monika Caryk (the girlfriend of Mark Hoffman) has uttered numerous statements wishing my unborn child dead.
The worst part is that Karlsson’s first child, a son named Axel, was stillborn in March of this year.
It gets worse:
Melinda is also claiming that Monika Caryk uttered that she wished I was dead and that someone should ‘take out’ my husband’s legs to ‘end his career. She also pointed out that Monika Caryk has posted over 1,000 negative and derogatory statements about me as a professional.
Earlier this week, the Ottawa Senators sent out a statement:
The NHL club is “investigating this matter in co-operation with the NHL and will take whatever steps are necessary to protect the safety and privacy of our players and their families.”
Mark Hoffman has since denied the allegations against his girlfriend in a statement to the Citizen.
There is a 150 percent chance that my fianceé Monika and I are not involved in any of the accusations that have been pursued (that are) coming our way.
Back in March, the Karlsson’s were the target of cyberbullying after a horrible comment was left on Erik Karlsson s Instagram account after the defenseman made a post acknowledging the support he and Melinda received following their son’s death.
If this is true, Mark Hoffman’s girlfriend Monika Caryk NEEDS psychiatric help or placed behind bars for premeditated assault and cyberbullying. The stress alone on a pregnant woman could cause the baby to be still born.
