Just when we all thought that Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was in the clear of the alleged acts of domestic violence, he is still facing possible NFL disciplinary action.

CelebNSports247.com has learned that Ezekiel Elliott light at the end of the tunnel is still far far away. Elliott could face some kind of punishment from the league as a result of that investigation.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports:

“This is a situation that has gone back and forth so many times. I’ve spoken to some people within the league who, during the course of the offseason, got a sense that some form of discipline could happen.”

He goes on to say:

“Nothing may well happen there, but something could happen there. We just don’t know right now. It’s just sort of out there.”

If you recall, back in September 2016, the city attorney’s office in Columbus declared in a press release they would NOT press charges against Elliott, but the NFL’s investigation has continued since.

However, the allegation against Zeke comes from his ex-girlfriend showing several bruises on her knee, arms and neck via Instagram photo’s posted by Deadspin.

Here is what she said Elliott had done to her:

She claims that she had been abused for months, and that “it finally got out of control to where I was picked up and thrown across the room by my arms. Thrown into walls. Being choked to where I have to gasp for breath. Bruised everywhere, mentally and physically abused.”

We find this all to coincidental since Zeke never spoke of her when he made it into the NFL. If Zeke split with his ex-girlfriend this sound more like a scorned woman who is PISSED that he moved on and dumped her once he made it into the NFL.

Could this just be her way of getting back at him, by trying to sabotage his career?

What else is interesting is that the most recent development in the investigation involved the NFLPA. It showed that the investigation is close to being wrapped up. Now it’s still pending?
