Barkley’s MRI exam confirmed that he suffered a high ankle sprain that could keep Barkley out for up to eight weeks.

Of course, Pat Shurmur confirmed the injury but didn’t offer a timetable.
Shurmur said:
We certainly believe in Wayne Gallman.
However, the Giants have a Week 11 bye and Barkley could return after that.
Barkley has 237 yards rushing on 37 carries this season with one touchdown. Gallman, who had 13 yards on five carries filling in for Barkley on Sunday, is expected to take over the feature back role. We guess this will keep the trash talking down to a minimum.
