It appears that someone is thirsty for her 15-minutes because Gloria Govan is weighing in on why she feels that she isn’t the reason Phil Jackson fired Derek Fisher from the Knicks, CelebNSports247.com has learned!

Gloria Govan said Tuesday to HipHollywood at the red carpet premiere of “Meet the Blacks”:

“I don’t think so. I don’t think so at all …I mean, I hope not, better not be.”

Govan went on to say, while trying to clarify that the Knicks simply made a basketball business decision, and it had nothing to do with the controversy surrounding their courtship.

“Honestly, he called me the morning when he did get let go and he was like it [the conversation with Jackson] was short and it was simple.”

“You know, I feel like he had a feeling because they were on a five-game losing streak. And it’s really just a business. I think people forget, it’s not anything personal. Him and Phil are still friends.”

We previously told you that Fisher was let go in early February after less than two seasons with the club.
