Greg Hardy is unwanted by the NFL

Today all the talk is about Greg Hardy, the NFL player who was arrested for attacking his girlfriend show signs he’s not changed

Greg Hardy claims that he is an innocent man!

It sad that the troubled defensive end kept telling Adam Schefter in ESPN’s exclusive interview that he never touched anyone and that he is innocent.

Isn’t that what all abusive men do when they’re trying to clean up their act?

While most sports analyst say that Greg Hardy is one of the most toxic people who played in the NFL, the DE is trying to clear his name. Let us not forget that he attacked his girlfriend Nicole Holder, back in November 2015. He was arrested on domestic violence charges shortly after.

Hardy told Schefter:

“As a man, you have to take responsibility for every action and every reaction.”

In Hardy’s alter universe, he fails to accept responsibility despite being found guilty by a judge of assaulting a female and communicating threats.

In fact, Hardy insinuated that the graphic images Deadspin published — showing the injuries to ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder resulting from the alleged attack — are fake.

Greg Hardy explains:

“Pictures are pictures, they can be made to look like whatever they want to. I didn’t say I didn’t do anything wrong.”

“That situation occurred and that situation was handled, but as a man you can’t avoid situations that are not your fault.”

“Saying that I did nothing wrong is a stretch but saying I’m innocent is correct.”

Not recognizing his wrongs, Greg Hardy continues to claim his innocence:

“I don’t want to compare situations, but I will say that it is a story of an innocent man and a guilty man, but I can’t move on anybody’s intentions or anybody’s words.”

“I would ask people to separate my business from my actual personal record and give me a shot to just step up and continue to break records and work harder.”

Hardy also said people speculate that he is guilty of assaulting Holder without the facts of the case because of his alter-ego: the Kraken.

“It could be speculated that I’m an invincible mythological sea creature with white eyes, it can be speculated that I am this other thing and it’s up to me to fix it.”

After hearing part of the interview, Holder released the following statement to ESPN:

“I have worked very hard to distance myself from the media. I have relocated twice, changed my phone number more times that I can remember — I’ve even considered legally changing my name. In four weeks I will be graduating from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management. My focus is on finding a job, which has had its own unique challenges because of the news coverage related to my name. I am trying to move forward with my life and asking the media to respect my privacy and wishes.”

Sporting News reports:

Hardy actually was found guilty by the judge in his first trial, but prosecutors then dropped the charges because they were unable to proceed with the jury trial he asked, under North Carolina law, when Holder wouldn’t cooperate. She reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement with Hardy.

In an excerpt of the interview released Monday, Hardy claimed he “never put my hand on ANY women … In my whole entire life, No Sir. That’s just not how we’re raised.”

Hardy initially was suspended for 10 games by the NFL before the ban was later reduced to four games. The Cowboys signed him last offseason, but he created a number of on-field and off-field distractions for the team. So why should he get a third chance while Ray Rice remains unsigned after knocking unconscious his then-fiancee, now wife, in 2014?

Meanwhile,Wide Receiver for the Baltimore Ravens, Steve Smith Sr weighed in on Greg Hardy making it clear that he is no fan of a man who abuses a woman!

Smith tweeted this to his 169k following:
