CelebNSports247.com received word via SportingNews that J.D. Davis entered the game to replace Altuve while Marwin Gonzalez moved to second base to take his spot in the field.
There has been no announcement by the Astros on Jose Altuve’s Knee injury.
Though Altuve was seen cheering on his teammates on the top step of the dugout as they left the field at the end of an inning, so it does not appear he left for the hospital for any reason

After the game, the 28-year-old Jose Altuve told Astros beat reporter Brian McTaggart:
Jose Altuve said he’s going to be fine. He said he hit his knee sliding into third a few days ago and it’s been sore. He said coming out of the game early was the right call, and he think he’ll be ready to go Friday.
