CelebNSports247.com reports that absolute chaos erupted after Monday night’s game between Jackson State and Prairie View A&M.
During the handshake following the game, words were exchanged between players and a fight broke out between the teams.
Fans watching the game didn’t know what to do so the announcer said on the ESPN broadcast:
There’s a skirmish happening right now. Khalil Spencer going after someone on Prairie View just after the game ended. It started on the far baseline as now the assistant coaches try to corral their players, still some pushing and shoving going on. It did get chippy late in this ballgame.
The incident was a carryover from a hard foul in the final minute which resulted in Jackson State’s Jayveous McKinnis being assessed a technical foul.
It was crazy!
Jackson State picks up a tech at the end of the game which leads to two made free throws allowing Praire View to cover (-7.5).
Fight then breaks out after the game because of the hard foul. @betthehoops
