Things are apparently NOT starting off on a good foot when it comes to Jacksonville Jaguars star cornerback Jalen Ramsey who was a no-show for the team’s voluntary workouts.
Read on to see what the Jacksonville Jaguars said about their cornerback Jalen Ramsey…
CelebNSports247.com reports that Jacksonville Jaguars star cornerback Jalen Ramsey was a no-show for the team’s voluntary workouts, but head coach Doug Marrone didn’t seem to be concerned.
Head coach Doug Marrone conceited that the workouts are supposedly voluntary so what does it matter?
The Jaguars.com reports that Marrone said shortly before noon Tuesday during his first media availability of the 2019 offseason program.
It’s a voluntary period; it’s an option. I don’t try to concern myself with things that are out of my control. I’m sure they’re both working hard.
Jalen Ramsey was NOT the only player NOT at the Jaguars voluntary workouts, oh no, linebacker Telvin Smith was the only other Jaguars player not in attendance.
As for Ramsey, he is in the final year of his rookie contract, although the Jaguars do have a fifth-year option, and wants a new deal before the season starts.
At this time, it’s unclear at this time if he’s willing to holdout, although you have to assume it is a possibility.
Despite the reports, Jalen made sure to plug his endorsement with BioSteelSports:

[…] This is no surprise that Jalen wanted to be traded, lets not forget he was a no-show for Jacksonville Jaguars workout and training. […]
